Looking back with pride and moving forward together into 2026
As 2025 comes to an end, we want to pause, look back, and simply say thank you.
Thank you to every patient, caregiver, physician, researcher, nurse, advocate and partner who has been part of this journey. What we have built together this year goes far beyond activities or numbers. It is a strong, growing and connected Global MPN Family.

Content guide

A truly global community
Our reach and engagement continued to grow throughout the year:

MPN World continues to be a safe and trusted space where patients and caregivers connect, share experiences and support one another every day.
One MPN Family, together in person
A defining moment of 2025 was the 5th MPN Spring Symposium, celebrating five years of connection, collaboration and trust.
More than 50 people attended in person, over 200 followed live via Zoom, and participants joined from China, Saudi Arabia, Portugal, the USA, Canada, Europe, and Latin America. For the first time, we had a large in-person roundtable with more than 8 young patients (AYAs) from different countries. In total, 7 young AYAs traveled from abroad to share their experience face-to-face.

Patients, caregivers, physicians, researchers and partners came together as one MPN family, sharing knowledge, experiences and hope. Learn more and watch all the videos:
Transparency, research and clinical updates
We remained committed to providing timely, transparent and relevant information, including updates on Pegasys distribution and manufacturing challenges, helping patients navigate uncertainty with reliable information.
We also hosted and supported webinars on ongoing clinical trials, including sessions with:
Among the highlights were our MPN Educational Roundtables, addressing often-taboo topics such as mental health, fatigue and daily challenges.

These spaces allowed honest conversations, practical guidance and shared learning, always centered on real patient needs.
And we shared key insights from major international congresses:

Patient voices at the center
Throughout 2025, we shared powerful patient testimonies, reminding us why this work matters. Real stories, real experiences, real impact.
We also continued to develop and promote tools created by patients, for patients, including the MPN Journal, a tracker tool that helps patients follow symptoms, quality of life and daily experiences, and supports meaningful conversations with hematologists.

Wellbeing beyond medical results
This year, the Wellbeing Project became one of the most meaningful pillars of our work.
Because we know that living with MPN is not only about treatments or lab results, but about how we live each day.

In 2025, the Wellbeing Project included:
Writing workshops with Puy Barral (ET patient)
Guided meditations for MPN patients with Rubén Sosa
Qigong, Yoga Nidra, and Restorative Yoga weekly classes
EFT Tapping sessions
Nutrition-focused content with Carla Not
All designed to support emotional balance, energy, resilience and overall quality of life.
POIESIS Trial. Advancing the Future of MPNs
One of the highlights of 2025 was our exclusive webinar “Unlocking the Future of MPNs: POIESIS Trial Insights”, featuring Dr. Serge Verstovsek and Prof. Haifa Al-Ali. The session focused on the POIESIS clinical trial, an international study exploring new treatment mechanisms for myelofibrosis, including P53 pathway activation, and its potential impact on patient outcomes and quality of life.
Awareness, every day
From MPN Awareness Day to daily conversations across platforms, we continued to raise visibility for MPNs, always guided by patient voices and lived experience.

Wishing you a peaceful holiday season and a hopeful 2026
As we close this year, we want to wish you and your loved ones a peaceful holiday season and a New Year filled with hope, connection and strength.
Thank you for being part of this community.
Thank you for your trust and your voice.
Thank you for helping us build something meaningful together.
We look forward to walking into 2026 side by side, as always.
