Quinoa porridge


INGREDIENTS AND PREPARATION


  • Cooked quinoa with a cinnamon stick

  • Hot almond drink

  • Dried cranberries

  • Goji berries

  • Mixture of ground seeds (flax, sesame and chia)


Quinoa ( Chenopodium quinoa ) has an exceptional balance of protein, fat, and carbohydrates (primarily starch). Among the amino acids present, lysine (important for brain development) and arginine and histidine, essential for human development during childhood, stand out. It is also rich in methionine and cystine, minerals such as iron, calcium, and phosphorus, and vitamins, while being low in fat, thus complementing other grains and/or legumes.
