Black rice with vegetables


INGREDIENTS


  • Black rice (120g cooked)

  • Snow peas or green beans

  • Black sesame sprouts

  • Broccoli

  • Chive

  • Olive oil

  • Parsley

  • Garlic


ELABORATION

  • First, put water on the stove and when it starts to boil, add the rice.

  • The cooking time is 45 to 55 minutes, the ratio is 1-3, that is, 1 cup of rice to 3 cups of water.

  • Meanwhile, we start boiling water in another pot.

  • We trim the ends off the snow peas and cut them into thinner strips.

  • We open the broccoli, remove the stems and separate the "brindles".

  • We add the beans and broccoli to the boil at the last minute so that it becomes crunchier.

  • You can use the remaining boiled vegetables for another dish or add more to this one.

  • We drain everything that has been boiled.

  • We chop parsley and garlic with the oil.

  • We plate it and pour the previous mixture, the chopped chives and the black sesame sprouts over it.


Note: If garlic is difficult for us to digest, we can blanch it beforehand.
