The Wellbeing Project Writing Workshop, led by Puy Barral, continues to grow with every session, and we are delighted to share that we have now reached the midpoint of our six-session journey.
This third session, titled “Words to Care for Ourselves”, marks an important moment in the program. It is the space where participants begin to notice how writing can become a gentle tool for reflection, expression, and self-care.
What makes this experience especially meaningful is the incredible participation and openness of the patients who join each session. Their stories, reflections, and shared moments create a supportive environment where writing becomes much more than words on a page. It becomes connection.
Each session offers guided prompts and exercises designed to help participants write freely, without pressure or expectations. The focus is not on literary perfection, but on authentic expression and wellbeing.
With this third session, we officially arrive at the equator of the six workshops that make up the Writing Workshop series.
Seeing the commitment of participants week after week has been deeply inspiring, all of the patients, share that writing helps them slow down, reflect, and feel accompanied by others who understand their journey.
We are grateful for every person who has joined and contributed their voice to this collective experience.
The Writing Workshop continues over the coming months with the remaining sessions of the series:
🗓 Starts: Thursday, March 19 at 6:30PM
🗓 Next dates: Thursday, April 23 | May 21 | June 18
🌍 Online🗣️ Spanish and simultaneous interpretation in English.
The Wellbeing Project is now completely free for MPN patients and caregivers.
This initiative was created to support wellbeing through practices that complement medical care, offering spaces for creativity, movement, connection, and reflection.
Because wellbeing is not only measured in medical results, but also in how we live each day.
