Writing, clarity and wellbeing within the Global MPN Wellbeing Project
This is the second session of our writing workshop within the Global MPN Scientific Foundation Wellbeing Project, led by Puy Barral, creative writing facilitator and MPN patient, in collaboration with MPN Spain and MPN LATAM.
This 6-month journey is designed to support people living with MPNs in cultivating mental clarity, emotional balance, and inner peace through a gentle, continuous process of self-expression.
In this online session, Puy offers a safe and inclusive space to write, listen, share, and connect.
This is not about writing skill.
It is about writing for yourself. I
t is about REGAINING YOUR STRENGTH.
For this second encounter, we focus on a feeling that often travels with us, quietly or loudly: fear.
Fear of uncertainty.
Fear of symptoms.
Fear of results.
Fear of what might change.
Instead of pushing fear away, we will give it space and language.
In this second session, I´m writing you you.
You can explore:
What fear has been telling you lately
What it protects you from (and what it takes from you)
What you wish it understood about you
What you want to keep, release, or redefine
Where your strength has been showing up, even in small ways
Writing does not erase fear. But it can help you understand it, soften it, and make room for yourself again.
The writing workshop is part of a broader Wellbeing Program that includes writing, Qigong, yoga, and mindfulness, ETF, all designed to support emotional and mental wellbeing.
Because we know that wellness is not only measured in medical results, but in how we live every day. Each of the techniques offered are designed to help improve the symptoms and side effects that may arise during the process with MPN. These practices do not replace medical treatments, but complement them from an integral point of view, supporting the emotional, energetic and quality of life process.
