Meet Simon: New English Qigong Instructor in the Wellbeing Project

We are truly excited to introduce someone very special to join the Wellbeing Project this February.

Simon lives in Bath (United Kingdom) and is not only a passionate Qigong practitioner, but also an MPN patient living with Primary Myelofibrosis (MF). That personal experience is exactly what makes his presence in the project so meaningful. *Special video from Simon at the end of this blog!

Simon discovered Qigong during his own journey with MPN and quickly felt how powerful it can be as a daily tool for wellbeing. In his own words, Qigong helps him feel more grounded and connected to his body, supporting him through moments of fatigue, heaviness, bone aches, and other side effects that can come with treatment.

What makes Simon’s approach so special is how real and accessible it is. He shares Qigong as something you can do anywhere, without equipment, without pressure, and at your own pace. Whether it’s 10 minutes or a full hour, his message is clear: small daily practices can make a big difference.

Starting February 6, Simon will begin offering English Qigong sessions as part of the Wellbeing Project, creating a welcoming space for English-speaking patients and caregivers, and also for anyone living in Spain or Europe who prefers to join wellbeing sessions in English.

🗓 Starts: Friday, February 6, 2026

📅 Every Friday (except UK holidays)

🕐 12:30–13:30 (CET)

🗣️ Language: English
