Presentation of the speaker, Alberto Martinez

I am Alberto Martinez, Senior Director of Clinical Science at Silence Therapeutics.  I am the Clinical Science lead for divesiran which is in development for polycythemia vera (PV), and my role includes communicating the science behind divesiran to patients, their families, and doctors.  I have been in the pharmaceutical industry for 25 years helping mostly small companies like Silence Therapeutics with novel and interesting technologies take their discoveries into clinical studies to ultimately benefit and hopefully help patients.  I was born in Bogota, Colombia and have lived and studied in Canada, UK, Germany and the USA. 

This session will offer insights into how this pioneering biotechnology company is contributing to improving outcomes for MPN patients worldwide.

The webinar will cover:

• Their current research and development efforts in MPNs
