On May 20th, 2025, the Global MPN Scientific Foundation hosted a webinar featuring Silence Therapeutics, a UK-based biotech company exploring RNA-based therapies for Polycythemia Vera (PV).

The first part of the session featured Alberto Martinez, Senior Director of Clinical Science, who presented divesiran, an investigational RNA interference therapy currently in development for PV. He explained the company’s scientific approach, how divesiran works by targeting abnormal gene expression, and its potential to improve treatment outcomes in patients with PV. Watch Part 1:
