The MPN Journal is a free and easy-to-use online tool created to help people living with Myeloproliferative Neoplasms (MPNs). You can track your symptoms, medications, side effects, and lifestyle habits — all in one place.
It was created by John Hoogland, Dolf van den Berg, and Remco van Haaren — all MPN patients themselves — in collaboration with the Global MPN Scientific Foundation (GMPNSF).

Why use it?
Because understanding what affects your symptoms can make a real difference in your daily life.
One patient discovered that regular physical activity helped him completely reduce his fatigue. Other users have noticed how stress, nutrition, or treatments influence their wellbeing.
You can also help improve care for others — the platform collects anonymous data to identify patterns and support future research.
What’s new?
Thanks to user feedback and the latest updates, you can now also:
Track doctor appointments
Add your country of treatment
Record use of anticoagulants and statins
Log menstrual or menopause symptoms
Enter smoking habits and height (to calculate BMI)
All of this helps create a better understanding of how different factors relate to symptoms.

Easy to access
No app needed
Use it on your phone, tablet, or computer
Available in 11 languages including English, Spanish, German, French, and more
Fully anonymous and free
