A young patient from Mexico raises her voice for people living with MPN in Latin America

A young patient from Mexico is sharing her story to help make visible what everyday life with a myeloproliferative neoplasm (MPN) looks like for many people across Latin America.

Her voice is already part of the global MPN community. She previously shared her personal testimony during the 5th Barcelona Symposium, from last November, held in Barcelona, where patients and healthcare professionals came together to place real patient experiences at the center of the conversation.

Today, her message continues through this video story, reminding us how important it is to listen to young patient voices and create safe spaces where experiences can be shared openly.

Her story is part of the work promoted by MPN LATAM, the patient and family community for Latin America that is part of the Global MPN Scientific Foundation.

Through this space, we aim to give visibility to real patient voices from the region and continue building a close, accessible network based on shared experiences.

This testimony is also connected to the international community of MPN World, where people living with MPN and their families from different countries can meet, share real experiences and support one another.

Because when a young person decides to tell her story, many others discover that they are not alone.
