On June 25th, 2025, the Global MPN Scientific Foundation hosted a meaningful roundtable focused on Essential Thrombocythemia (ET) for patients and caregivers in the USA.

This virtual session featured an insightful intervention by Prof. Hugh Rienhoff, a renowned expert in genetics, medicine, and MPN innovation, who introduced the foundations of clinical trials and discussed the development of a new trial for ET currently underway.
Participants also heard directly from ET patients, who openly shared their experiences, perspectives, and hopes for the future, highlighting the importance of community, collaboration, and access to innovation.
