About the event
A conversation that’s long overdue: MPNs through the lens of womanhood.
Join us for a unique session on menstruation, pregnancy, and menopause—because your questions deserve real answers.
This live webinar is a unique and safe space dedicated entirely to addressing the challenges, questions, and decisions that women living with Myeloproliferative Neoplasms (MPNs) often face. It is also for those who support women—partners, daughters, mothers, friends, and caregivers—who wish to understand and accompany better.
Guided by Dr. Natalia Curto-García, a hematologist specialized in MPNs at Guy’s and St. Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust (London), this session will focus on key life moments where the female body and MPNs intersect: adolescence, menstruation, pregnancy, and menopause.
Why this focus on women?Because many aspects of living with an MPN—like hormonal cycles, fertility concerns, or pregnancy risks—are specific to women and too often under-discussed. This is an opportunity to change that, openly and respectfully, with accurate medical information and community support.
